At AFTERSOIL, we believe the best design is rooted in the natural world. The ground our garments come from deserves something back.
Fashion is one of the most polluting industries on the planet, and the fastest way to add to the problem is to buy more than you need. So we keep a small collection on purpose, and every piece in it is chosen for the integrity of its construction: garments made to be worn for years, not seasons. Buying less and keeping it longer is the most direct way to cut waste.
Our commitment doesn't stop at what we carry. Through our partnership with Trees For The Future, we plant one tree for every order placed on aftersoil.com. Trees are a source of food, income and healthy soil for farming communities across the globe, and with your help we can work to break the cycle of poverty and hunger while reducing our own footprint.
Proof, not promises
Anyone can say they plant trees, so here is the paper trail. Our team has given to Trees For The Future every quarter since 2022, and after each donation they send back an updated certificate with the running total of trees funded.

About Trees For The Future
Trees For The Future (TFTF) is a nonprofit organization that helps underserved children, families and communities in Sub-Saharan Africa through its Forest Garden Approach. By planting thousands of fruit and vegetable trees, it helps restore damaged farmland and gives rural communities steadier income, fairer opportunity and access to fresh food and water.
TFTF teaches farmers agroforestry, farming technology and sustainable land use, leading to greater efficiency and better harvests. By partnering with TFTF, we aim to make a difference both to the health of the land and to the communities who work it. To learn more, visit trees.org.
