SILENSTORM

SILENSTORM makes technical clothing almost entirely in black, with angled zips and tactical pockets. Its pieces on AFTERSOIL include a hooded jacket with taped waterproof zips and a detachable hood, a mandarin-collar waterproof jacket, a dual-placket softshell and two kimono-cut light jackets; pants from 3-layer Teflon-coated hiking shell pants to crinkled water-repellent arc-zip pants, center-zip quick-dry pants and a drop-crotch trouser; tees in 230 gsm cotton or quick-dry fabric with mesh panels and zip pockets; and a wide-brim bucket hat and cap. YKK zips recur, a few pieces come in grey or purple, and prices run from $39 to $205. See also Shells and gorpcore pants.
